Weekly Wittering: Prompt #1

Evening all! Welcome back to Wittering of a Worldbuilder. I know it’s been a while, but due to the current situation with Coronavirus in the UK I thought it’d be a good time to get back into worldbuilding.

Today marks the beginning of a regular posting in which I will be taking on a worldbuilding prompt and attempting to use it to delve into different aspects of my world – Egaar. The Importance of Writing: Building the details

So, I’ve taken a bit of a hiatus from blogging for the last couple of weeks as I struggled to motivate myself to write something. This was partly due to the pressures of being a teacher this time of year (Revision season!), but also because I couldn’t think of anything that I actually wanted to write about! Yes, I have ideas for continuing series such as Pimp my Race and Fantasy Field Trip, as well as a load of other article ideas for future posts, but sometimes I find it hard to just sit down and write these things. As a result, I have spent a lot of time developing various elements of my long-term work-in-progress: a fantasy world and associated story currently called The Endlands.
