Ever stuck for fantasy writing ideas? Or struggle to bring a setting to life? Then turn off the computer, forget about writing for an hour and go on a Fantasy Field Trip! Whenever I fancy a break from writing I will often venture out to interesting locations nearby. Whether meaning to or not, I will often return from my escapades brimming with ideas and inspiration drawn from different places I visit. What follows is a documentation of one of my excursions and an explanation of my random thoughts and ideas drawn from what I have seen.
